Ultra Beings 1: Omnipresent Daughters

Ultra Beings is a serial program that pairs women and gender-queer feminist artists from similar/different backgrounds to collectively envision a feminist future and build lasting connections. By acknowledging the diverse experiences and struggles of women globally, the program underscores the importance of global solidarity and the need for intersectional approaches to feminism.
The first edition of the program we invited two Korean feminist artists, Chaewon Shin and Areum Hwangwho will embark on two residency periods at Extrapool throughout August and September. During this time, they will collaboratively work on their publishing project, Ultra Beings: Omnipresent Daughters.
