Noah Derksen is one of Canada’s most distinctive voices, a singer-songwriter whose luminous blend of folk, country, and indie defies easy categorization. Emerging from Winnipeg’s indie scene — an isolated city in the heart of North America — Noah was named a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country competition and awarded Canadian Folk Music’s Emerging Artist of the Year. Noah's recent album, stolen serenades (Feb 2025), is a collection of cover songs that shaped his path as a songwriter — a love letter to the artists and influences who came before. It followed Sanctity of Silence (2023), which earned him a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Songwriter of the Year.
