Lovesick are an original band playing country, western swing and rock’n’roll. They have released six studio albums, the latest of which – Remember My Name – came out in June 2024.
In 2024 and 2025, they completed two tours in the United States and were nominated for the Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas, in the Western Swing Band category, recognizing them as one of the most interesting acts in the genre internationally.
The band is led by Paolo Roberto Pianezza (guitars, vocals) and Francesca Alinovi (double bass, vocals), and has been active since 2015 with original releases and international touring. With over 400 shows across Europe and the US, they perform only original songs, blending American roots with a personal and recognizable style of songwriting.
They have shared the stage with artists such as Ben Harper, Tommy Emmanuel, Toquinho, JD McPherson and Zucchero, and have played at major festivals alongside The Offspring, Social Distortion, Walter Trout, Ten Years After and other well-known names in the scene.
They also opened for Zucchero Fornaciari at the RCF Arena Campovolo in front of 35,000 people, as well as at historic venues like the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento and the Greek Theatre in Syracuse. Remember My Name, released on June 28, 2024, was recorded in Los Angeles and is the band’s sixth studio album. It is distributed worldwide by DixieFrog Records (Europe), MGM Distribution (Australia and New Zealand) and Edgewater
Music Group (United States, Canada and the rest of the world), confirming the band’s artistic and international identity.
To date, Lovesick have sold over 19,000 physical records completely independently. Paolo and Francesca have also been involved in film and television: they appeared in the movie Lamborghini – The Man Behind the Legend, in the TV
series Speravo de morì prima (based on the career of the soccer player Francesco Totti), and in the international series about Oriana Fallaci, released in 2025.
