Cuban Heels
De band werd in 1988 in Haaksbergen opgericht en speelde jarenlang in en rondom Twente. Na hun debuut in 2001 groeide de band (onder de bezielende aanvoering van zanger Jan Hidding) uit tot een sensatie in het Nederlandse en Europese livecircuit, met shows in clubs en op festivals in Nederland, België, Engeland, Frankrijk en Duitsland. Naast de klassieke vintage blues liet Cuban Heels zich inspireren door eerst The Red Devils en later The Black Keys, maar ook met het swampy geluid van Tom Waits weet de band goed raad.
